We had a wonderful stay in your cottage, were very glad to leave London for a short stay in beautiful Somerset. Hopefully we can return one day.
I envy you – you live in such an amazing and interesting place! ,
Olga, Alex and the boys, Greetings from Belgium.
Thanks you so much Cath and Trev, for a wonderful, peaceful idyll to relax and rejuvenate while exploring Glastonbury and surrounding areas. We love ‘Nap cottage’ and have thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Thank you also for the Apple Cake – it was scrumptious.
A fantastic short visit. Loved the welcoming cake and jug of milk. You have thought of everything from tea and coffee to hand wash. Will have to return for a longer break.
Thank you for such a warm welcome.
P.S. We all loved the table tennis and certainly improved over the holiday.
Many, many thanks for your warm welcome including the apple pie! We have had a wonderful week exploring the delights of this beautiful area returning each evening to a quiet, peaceful relaxing cottage, Just what we needed. Thank you
On the edge of a village, Nooze Cottage is the perfect spot for a base in Somerset. We stayed for a week whilst attending the New Wine Conference near Shepton Mallett, a short drive away. The cottage was a peaceful haven to retreat to set in the beautiful gardens of the main house. We loved the patio doors in the main room and bedroom that opened onto a private outdoor eating area decorated with plants and hanging baskets. Inside everything was spotless, comfortable, tastefully furnished and fully equipped. There were even plenty of books and games in case of bad weather. Cath and Trevor were very welcoming and we’d love to stay there again.
Thank you for a lovely place to stay and a very warm welcome. We enjoyed so much to come back to this quiet haven after visiting all the exciting places around Glastonbury
Thanks for many happy holidays – we’ve kept coming back – says it all! Kia ora1
Perfect…as always. Won’t leave it so long next time!
Well what can I say! A big “wow and thank you”. Great communication from the start. Trevor and Cath were so welcoming, the accommodation speaks for itself, and the finishing touches were so thoughtful. The cake we were greeted with in the kitchen was out of this world. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend the beautiful Sleepy Hollow. Thank you for making our week-end special and we’ll see you again I’m sure.
Had a lovely time as usual. Wish I could bottle this lovely peaceful Sunday morning – the blackbirds giving a private concert recital! The woodpecker also visited today.
Here we are again! Nap cottage as inviting as ever. Plenty of warm dry weather for usual assault on Somerset and Devon. Highlights included walk around Ilminster (AA guide online), Hestercombe Gardens (very dog friendly and shady on a hot day) plus usual favourites such as Wearyall Hill in Glastonbury, Kilva Beach etc. Thanks again Trevor and Cath.
Really enjoyed our Easter weekend break at this lovely cottage. The weather wasn’t as bad as expected! Enjoyed Glastonbury and Wookey Hole. Would love to come back again for some well earned peace and quiet!.
Lovely cottage and gardens in quiet surroundings. plenty to do in the local area and we will certainly go back again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our last minute weekend getaway. Just what the description of the cottage says – cosy, comfortable, calm and peaceful. All the facilities you need, in beautiful countryside. Thank you.
Our holiday in Somerset was made perfect by our stay in Sleepy Hollow. Your cottage, Nooze, was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. As well as Barton St David being a great base for all our day trips taken in the south west of England.
We will be recommending a stay in Sleepy Hollow to all our family & friends. Once again thank you for all the personal touches including the apple pie, very tasty.
We’ve enjoyed a wonderful week in beautiful Somerset. Thank you for the delicious Somerset Apple pie, it went down so perfectly with the blackberries collected in the drove.
Our second visit to Sleepy Hollow and not our last…..hope to see you again next year. We’ll tell all our Aussie pals how idyllic this place is!
……………..now for our annual climb up The Tor!!
Many thanks for a warm welcome and enjoyable stay. We have really appreciated the beauty and peace of the surroundings and the sheer abundance of fruit on the trees outside our window.
What a lovely place to spend a few days! Thank you for being so accommodating – the cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped and in the most beautiful tranquil setting. The children highly recommend the local park.
Thank you so much again for letting us stay in your lovely cottage! We had a wonderful time. As always, it has gone too quickly. Thanks for the lovely apple pie, and the flowers – the roses scent is wonderful! Looking forward to seeing you again next year .
Wow! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and welcome. Sleepy Hollow is just perfect!
Thank you so much for the wonderful little touches that have enhanced our stay. We have all enjoyed a relaxing break away. Even our two little ones have enjoyed slowing the pace down, throwing routine of day to day life out of the window for a few days.
Nooze cottage is so well equipped – there is everything we needed.
We all slept soundly, and woke up to the sounds of the birds and sheep.
We have been so lucky with the weather, so warm for April.
Thank you for providing opportunity to see frog spawn, and newly born lambs with their mummies. So many firsts for our youngest. We will definitely be back. We have fallen in love with Sleepy Hollow!
Thank you very much for a most welcoming visit. Greeted with beautiful birdsong. Stunning location and views, a complete break from the family. Hope to see you again.
Lovely few days here, felt very at home in the cottage, fitted our needs perfectly.
For the fourth year in succession we have spent an idyllic two weeks here at Sleepy Hollow far from the madding crowds ignoble strife. We are refreshed and recreated ready to resume our place in the Leicestershire scheme of things. Even though we have been here before, we have still managed to discover new things and meet new people. Kingweston church is an absolute gem, and well worth a visit. The Quarry Inn continues to provide the most excellent Sunday lunches, and (almost) all the local inns are dog-friendly.
Of course it goes without saying that our hosts, Cath and Trev are wonderful in making all their guests feel at home – thank you both.
Hope to see you again next year.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Nap cottage has been a lovely, peaceful retreat for us after days cycling on the Tour of Wessex. Such quiet nights, days filled with birdsong and beautiful gardens to look out on.
From Stockholm, Sweden to England and, mostly by chance, we came to Sleepy Hollow and Barton St David and we couldn’t have found a better place! We totally fell in love with the village and the area, and will most certainly return to Somerset some day.
